Hey y’all! My name is Mackenzie and I am the owner of Strawberry Mountain Sweets. I am married to a handsome fireman and a mommy of 3 of the sweetest littles! When I was a little girl, I would wake up early, turn the TV on to my favorite channel {Food Network} and watch my favorite chefs, take notes and dream of one day having my own restaurant or bakery. Fast forward through lots and lots of life, and that dream started to take form…

 

In the fall of 2019, I made my first batch of macarons for my daughter’s 3rd birthday party, and instantly fell in love with the process. I started to play around with recipes and techniques, planned my first menu and put it out on Facebook to see if anyone would take a nibble.

 

I had a few busy months of baking and selling, but then the bakery dream got put on hold when I got pregnant with our third tiny love and had an extremely difficult pregnancy. After months of intense pregnancy sickness and hospital trips, our baby girl safely entered the world in August 2020!

I decided to try reopening Strawberry Mountain Sweets, once we had a few months of learning how to be a family of 5. My “reboot” took off faster than I had anticipated and has been such a blessing to our family! I am so thankful for all of my wonderful customers and I absolutely love having the opportunity to create tasty treats for you and your family to enjoy.
